Look into the sky and tell me what you see. Look down, greedy fiend, at the murky, dank earth – Skim past the blotted greys; these that have been there since birth.
Dig deep, with blood crusted fingernails, into the soil – Past the broken bones of the old, ‘Til you find what you have searched for And eat ‘til you cannot carry the load.
Fixate bloodshot eyes on the wondrous gift, Which, for so long a journey sought; Gaze at this treasure with an inextinguishable sense So that they will think you forgot.

You have a bunch of amazing short works here. they are universal in theme and can apply to almost every reader. very nice job. every reader that reads your work probably feels pulled in to the emotions that you are portraying through your words.
